Responsabilidades

• Performs the duties of a medical technologist for a specified area or rotates in all sections.
• Follows asepsis and antisepsis principles and uses proper techniques and equipment.
• Ensures equipment and work area are maintained and clean.
• Performs tests and procedures as ordered following manuals.
• Records, reports, and posts test results.
• Performs quality control.
• Maintains records and files; complies with regulatory requirements.
• Performs phlebotomy/EKG as needed.
• Participates in training and evaluates new techniques as required.
