Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join the Core Chemistry team at our on-site location. You will oversee daily operations, ensure timely and accurate test results, and mentor staff in a high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in a chemical/biological science and 5+ years of clinical lab experience, plus supervisory exposure and knowledge of CLIA/CAP. This role requires flexibility for overtime and shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Understanding of laboratory operations and policies (CLIA, CAP, state regs).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Core Chemistry department.
• Ensure tests are accurately performed and results reported timely.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel.
• Monitor daily workflow and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Maintain compliance with state and Federal regulations.
