Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Laboratory Supervisor for the Core Chemistry team in Burlington, NC. This role supports patient care by supervising testing, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality and compliance in a high-volume lab.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science and at least 5 years of clinical lab testing experience, with preferred supervisory exposure. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 4:00pm-12:30am, onsite in Burlington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Core Chemistry department.
• Train and mentor laboratory personnel within the department.
• Monitor workflow and ensure proper staffing for all shifts.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and state regulations and maintain QA records.
