Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Laboratory Supervisor for the Core Chemistry team in Burlington, NC. You’ll supervise daily lab operations, ensure accurate testing, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality results.

Requires a Chemistry/Clinical Lab degree and 5+ years in a lab setting; ASCP/AMT certification preferred. Strong leadership and LIS familiarity are valued. On-site role with potential for overtime depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Core Chemistry department.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results reported timely.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel.
• Monitor daily workflow and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Maintain staffing for all shifts and oversee QA records.
