247Hire is seeking a FIS Systematics Core Banking Specialist in Springfield, IL to support, maintain and enhance the core banking platform. The role requires deep technical expertise in mainframe technologies, system integrations, and banking operations.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure secure, reliable processing, manage data migrations, and design integrations with digital banking apps, while producing thorough technical documentation and supporting testing and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
8+ years of experience with FIS Systematics.
Strong knowledge of FIS Systematics Core Banking Platform.
Experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, REST APIs and Web Services.
Experience in data migration and system integration.
Experience with SQL and database management.
Experience in supporting core banking applications in financial institutions.
Strong understanding of banking operations and transaction processing.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the FIS Systematics core banking environment.
Configure and enhance core banking modules, including Deposits, Lending, and Customer Information.
Develop, test, and implement system changes and enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
Support batch processing, system upgrades, and data conversions.
Design and develop integrations between FIS Systematics and digital banking applications.
Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
