Job summary

Savers Bank in Massachusetts is seeking a Business Systems Specialist under the EVP, Chief Operating Officer, to manage the back-office administration for our core banking application and related systems.

This role works closely with internal departments and key vendors to resolve deficiencies, assist with integration needs, implement, and test new functionality to ensure a quality core banking experience for our customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years of banking experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Systems Analyst experience (COCC Insight or Fiserv DNA preferred).
• Experience with reporting software, Crystal Reports preferred.
• Strong project management, time management, and attention to detail.
• Leadership skills and ability to drive change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understand core processing system capabilities and impacts across departments.
• Lead or participate in projects related to Insight, upgrades, and integrations.
• Participate in training and user groups for core processing.
• Maintain core system parameters and test new products.
• Handle incident tickets, troubleshoot, design workflows, and change requests.
• Manage downtime with COCC and communicate resolutions to users.
• Monitor COCC support cases and escalate when needed.
• Serve as primary vendor contact and manage access for core/ancillary systems.
• Oversee third-party interfaces and document archiving, online banking, etc.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data quality processes.
• Design and optimize workflows for efficiency.
• Create and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Act as internal consultant and mentor for the core system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
