Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Business Systems Specialist to manage the bank's core banking system and related integrations. You will work with COCC Insight, CollaborateNOW, and iDentifi, handling incidents, upgrades, and reporting to ensure a smooth customer and employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years in banking with strong project management, vendor relations, and system analysis, plus excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years banking experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of core banking processing systems as well as related systems; minimum of 2 years of Systems Analyst experience (COCC Insight or Fiserv DNA experience preferred).
• Prior experience with reporting software (Crystal Reporting preferred).
• Project Management experience preferred: Must have strong time management skills and be detailed oriented in interpreting, analyzing, monitoring and reporting information.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively facilitate and manage change.
• Ability to work independently and effectively complete multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be a self-starter, assume responsibility, display initiative, make and act upon decisions within the scope of assigned authority.

Responsibilities

• Understand capabilities of the core processing system and potential product upgrades.
• Lead or participate in projects related to Insight and bank integrations.
• Participate in core processing user groups and ongoing core processing training.
• Maintain core system parameters and test/setup new products.
• Perform application maintenance including incident tickets and workflow changes.
• Manage system downtime with COCC; communicate timelines to end users.
• Monitor COCC support cases and escalate when needed.
• Be primary contact for vendor management and internal departments.
• Maintain user access and permissions for core and ancillary systems.
• Oversee third party interfaces like document archiving, online banking, and e-signatures.
• Manage forms upgrade process and archive parameters.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data quality processes.
• Design and optimize workflow processes for efficiency.
• Create and enhance documentation for configurations and procedures.
• Act as system administrator for COCC Insight, CollaborateNOW, iDentifi and integrations.
• Serve as internal consultant, advocate, and mentor for the core system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
