Job summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Core Banking Integrations Developer to design, build, and support integrations across core banking, digital banking, lending, and payments. You will work with Jack Henry SymXchange, REST/JSON APIs, and enterprise services to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions while aligning with security, auditability, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Experience with enterprise integrations and APIs in financial services
• Knowledge of Jack Henry SymXchange or similar core banking tech
• Understanding of REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, security and data privacy
• Experience with source control and deployment practices
• Ability to work in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements for scalable designs
• Develop and support core banking integrations and APIs
• Collaborate with vendors, business units and IT teams
• Ensure secure handling of credentials, keys and access
• Implement logging, monitoring and operational reliability for integrations
• Support production incidents and after-hours maintenance
• Document interfaces, data mappings, and runbooks
• Maintain compliant and auditable integration programs
