Job summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking an RPA & Automation Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support automated workflows and integrations across business areas. You will ensure security, resilience, and compliance with financial services standards.

The role involves collaborating with IT and business units, implementing robust exception handling, and maintaining runbooks and change records. A hybrid remote arrangement may follow onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in software development, automation, or similar technical roles.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based workflows and automations.
• Familiarity with regulated environments, security, and auditing considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop automations and integrations using the approved low-code platform.
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain automations and bots across core systems and external platforms.
• Develop logging, monitoring, and runbooks to ensure reliability and auditable processes.
• Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, and business units to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Create technical documentation including PDDs, SDDs, and change records.
• Coordinate testing (unit/integration/UAT) and resolve incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain version control and implement enhancements with minimal disruption.
