Job summary

Brooklyn Museum’s Digital Collections and Services internship focuses on researching rights status and identifying copyright holders for works in the collection. You will draft correspondence and license agreements, track progress in a database, and update rights information in TMS, while converting analog files to a digital database.

Intern seminars occur every other Tuesday from Feb 2, 2026. Paid internship for undergraduates and graduates, with a schedule of PT 12 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or grad student status; paid internship.
• Experience with copyright law is helpful but not required.
• Ability to research rights and identify copyright holders.
