Job summary

The Brooklyn Museum Libraries & Archives seek a detail-oriented intern to assist in reviewing, documenting, and organizing our publications, including bulletins and exhibition catalogues. You will work closely with the Directors and librarians, using Microsoft 365 and Primo catalog search, with potential backend Alma updates.

Eligibility targets undergrad/grad students or recent graduates age 21+, with seminars every other Tuesday starting Feb 2, 2026, 9:30am–12:30pm, and a stipend of $17/hour

Qualifications

• Undergrad or grad student status for the internship.
• Detail-oriented with interest in libraries, archives, or publishing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is helpful for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review, document, and physically organize Brooklyn Museum publications.
• Assist with searching the library catalog and learning search tools.
• Attend intern seminars on the scheduled Tuesdays and participate in catalog work if assigned.
