Marshall University’s Office of Career Education seeks a Coordinator, Virtual Career Development. This on-campus role supports MU students and alumni with holistic career resources, focusing on career readiness and professional competency development in a virtual learning environment.
The Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Student Engagement and helps implement departmental strategies.
The Coordinator, Virtual Career Development is integral to the Office of Career Education (OCE). TheOCEsupports the retention, graduation, and career success of MU students and alumni by providing holistic, inclusive, and impactful resources, services, and programming that intentionally engage students in all aspects of their development and career readiness.
This position focuses on the career and professional development of students, with an emphasis on career readiness and the development of professional competencies and skills in a virtual learning environment. As an integralOCEstaff member, the Coordinator supports all university students and collaborates to implement departmental strategies and objectives. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Student Engagement and is an on-campus position.
To ensure accessibility and inclusiveness of services, the Coordinator for Virtual Career Development role is dynamic and flexible, including occasional evening/weekend career programming, the possibility of late afternoon/early evening appointments, and the use of varied modalities (in-person, remote/virtual).
$35,568 - $44,400; Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity.
