ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryCoordinate management of equipment, supplies, and preference cards within assigned Operating Room (OR) service line(s). Act as a key liaison with surgeons, OR leadership, scheduling, equipment technicians, and OR assistants.
Essential Functions- Ensure availability of supplies and equipment for surgeries; serve as a subject matter expert on equipment, supplies, and physician preferences. Participate in capital planning and maintain expertise in specialty equipment. Promote fiscally responsible resource utilization aligned with HonorHealth’s financial goals. Facilitate resource availability and inventory control for assigned service line(s).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and proactively address potential issues. Analyze root causes, implement solutions, and monitor effectiveness.
- Support compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and quality improvement efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience- 5 years Surgical Technician experience (required)
- 1 year service line coordinator experience (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) (preferred)
