Join the Engineering team at one of the largest, most beautiful, and top private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Lead Plumber-Tradesperson!

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of heating, water, gas lines, plumbing, sanitary sewer systems, storm sewers, and gas pipes across all Desert Mountain structures and grounds. You will also perform skilled technical work in installing kitchen equipment and contribute to the success of the Engineering Department through other essential duties.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the plumbing trade is required, along with documented journeyperson status. Completion of a plumbing vocational/technical school or recognized apprenticeship is preferred. Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and a good driving record. Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or club is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform journeyperson-level work in installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, water, gas, and sewer systems.
  • Inspect work sites, determine materials and methods, locate underground piping, and develop work plans using blueprints and schematics.
  • Assemble, repair, modify, or install plumbing materials and equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Complete projects with quality workmanship, using appropriate tools and chemicals to install or repair plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions.
  • Stand and walk constantly; stoop, kneel, reach frequently.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds frequently.
  • Drive a motor vehicle as needed.
