  • Collaborate with hospital staff to align health education initiatives with clinical care.

Overview

This position is Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote, with flexibility to vary.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Coordinator, Health Education will direct the Family Matters Program. Will work collaboratively with inpatient and outpatient staff, as well as with representatives of community agencies, to provide patient and family education related to childhood cancer and blood diseases, and their treatment, including general health education aimed at minimizing the risk of negative health outcomes later in life.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2+ years of full-time professional experience in development and coordination of instructional programs and materials for health education. Hospital-based, pediatric health education experience preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor of Science degree in health education or equivalent combination of experience and education. Master of Science degree in public health/health education preferred.

Pay Scale Information

USD $62,088.00 - USD $82,784.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
