Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Coordinator – Equipment Logistics to manage inbound and outbound rental equipment for flawless event execution. This role supports the Equipment Logistics group on the Audio Visual & Event Technology team and requires in-office/show-site work five days per week from McCook, IL.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related event production or warehouse experience, strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills, and a focus on accuracy in

• Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Process returned equipment per policies and procedures.
• Sort inbound equipment including Sub-Rentals and Equipment Transfers.
• Identify, vet and enter lost and missing equipment.
• Prioritize work based on outbound needs.
• Pull, stage and scan outbound equipment per policies and procedures.
• Maintain records in required systems (e.g. R2).
• Communicate with Quality Control, Inventory Control and Transportation on order needs, changes and readiness.
• Escalate Missing or Damaged Equipment and space constraints.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts as assigned.
• Assist on-site additions per established policies and procedures.
• Help train/develop warehouse staff.
• Ensure sound safety and risk policies across operations.
• Promote teamwork between all warehouse operations.

Summary

The Coordinator – Equipment Logistics is responsible for the processing of inbound and outbound equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be directly responsible for the daily processing and staging of inbound and outbound rental equipment in accordance with procedure(s) to ensure integrity is maintained in our reservations and equipment readiness. This position requires teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

This position will support our Equipment Logistics group on the Audio Visual & Event Technology team. It is eligible to work an in person schedule, requiring work in-office and/or show-site 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of McCook, IL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process returned equipment in accordance to policies and procedures


• Sort inbound equipment, including Sub-Rentals and Equipment Transfers

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalency


• Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations
