tarte is hiring a Coordinator, direct-to-consumer generalist in New York to own the numbers behind how we sell direct—from tartecosmetics.com to TikTok Shop. You’ll build and maintain CX and merchandising reports, track TikTok Shop performance, and partner with almost every team to move the business forward.

Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, energized by ambiguity, love beauty and data, and comfortable turning complex data into clear insights.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and asking questions.
• Love beauty, especially color cosmetics.
• 1–2 years of experience (internships count).
• Experience leveraging AI to manage data and pull insights.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to pull, synthesize and validate data across platforms.
• Meticulous with detail; resolve discrepancies.
• Clear communicator who explains data to non-technical people.
• Organized to juggle multiple recurring workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Own CX performance reporting: contact volume, CSAT, response time, resolution rate, and channel metrics.
• Monitor TikTok Shop competition: pricing, promos, bundles, viral content, surface what tarte should beat.
• Maintain revenue documents and weekly WOW and YOY performance across D2C channels, plus the monthly chargeback doc.
• Spot anomalies in CX, fraud, and ecommerce platforms; escalate with context.
• Monitor fraud prevention platform, handle exceptions and review chargebacks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, year-end, and ad hoc reporting; own accuracy and deadlines.
• Pull recurring data from QA, product, and merch; mine customer feedback for themes.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, merchandising, product and logistics; document fraud policies and escalation steps.

tarte is hiring a Coordinator, direct-to-consumer generalist: a front-row view of every way we sell direct, from TikTok Shop to tartecosmetics.com. You’ll live in the data: what’s trending, what’s converting, what’s fraud, and what competitors are doing before we do it. You’ll build the reporting our CX & merch teams run on, track the beauty category on TikTok Shop, & work with nearly every team in the building. eCommerce moves fast, and it runs on relationships. You’ll build a lot of them.

This one’s for someone entrepreneurial who’s energized (not rattled) by ambiguity, asks a ton of questions, and reads a room well. If you love beauty, love TikTok, and love data. Come get in the mix.

• Buildthedecks.Prepmonthly,quarterly,year-end,andadhocreporting.Youowntheaccuracy,thestructure,andthedeadline.
• Answertheasks.HandlerecurringdatapullsfromQA,product,andmerch(complaintdatabySKU,returnreasons,productfeedback)andminecustomerfeedbackforthemesworthfixing.
• Workacrossthebuilding.Partnerwithmarketing(brand,social,influencer,digital),finance,merchandising,product&logistics.Documentfraudpolicies,decisionlogic,andescalationstepsasyougo.
