Illinois Institute of Technology is seeking a Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, financial, personnel, project and customer service support to the department. The role collaborates with faculty, staff, students and external contacts to support departmental objectives and priorities.
Reporting to the department leader, the Coordinator will manage schedules, coordinate meetings and events, assist with purchases and onboarding, maintain records, and handle confidential information
2800 per hour
Part time, non-exempt and benefits eligible
This position works twenty-four (24) hours per week, generally six hours per day Monday through Thursday. Monday is a required on‑site workday. Hybrid work is generally available Tuesday through Thursday, subject to departmental and operational needs. Working Friday in place of another weekday may be discussed during the interview process.

Reporting to the designated department leader, the Coordinator provides administrative, operational, financial, personnel, project and customer service support to the department. The position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, external contacts and other University departments to support departmental operations and priorities.
This position does not supervise employees or have independent budget authority. The Coordinator may provide task‑related guidance to student workers or temporary employees when assigned.
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment using a computer and telephone. Must be able to communicate effectively in person, electronically and in writing, and occasionally move materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
