Argonne National Laboratory is looking to hire an Office Assistant. This Office Assistant/Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Director, Electric Grid Program and the Director, Transportation Program in the Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) Directorate office reporting to the AET Directorate Executive Assistant. Under supervision and with a degree of initiative, the position will provide administrative support while performing a wide range of administrative activities and tasks. The individual will ensure the administrative responsibilities, often of a confidential or sensitive nature, are performed in a timely manner. Handling multiple assignments using independent judgment, facilitating effective, efficient flow and processing of information and activities associated with daily operations.
Other: To perform the essential functions of this position successful applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, which is required to comply with federal regulations and contract. Illegal drug testing as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 and a background investigation will be required prior to employment.
The expected hiring range for this position is $20.78 - $32.41. Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
