Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items in line with company policies and standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and a clean, safe kitchen. You will maintain equipment and stock, monitor temperatures, and collaborate with the Manager on Duty to resolve issues while upholding quality and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation and safety knowledge learned in training.
• Customer service skills expected for guest interactions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Report to work with proper grooming and uniform, maintain hygiene.
• Operate, clean, and store kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Stock and rotate items on the line to ensure freshness.
• Know station menus and prep procedures for correct portions and timing.
• Cook menu items per guest requests while following safety standards.
• Monitor hot and cold temps to prevent foodborne illness.
• Identify and address kitchen issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Communicate issues to the Manager on Duty and coworkers.
