Job summary

Asbury Solomons, a part of Asbury Communities in Southern Maryland, is seeking a dining services professional for a full-time role (40 hours/week). The shift runs 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required, at a rate of $19.25 per hour.

Responsibilities include setting up steamtable, maintaining proper food temperatures, serving guests, following recipes, and upholding sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in quantity food production.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maryland Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the steamtable on time to prevent delays in the tray line.
• Ensures food temperatures are maintained at appropriate levels per state and federal regulations; monitors temperatures throughout meal service.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food for consumption in eating establishments.
• Instructs attendants in regard to menu offerings and/or menu changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance.
