Job summary

Asbury Solomons is seeking a full-time kitchen team member to support dining services at the waterfront community in Southern Maryland. The role sets up the steamtable, maintains temperatures per regulations, and delivers high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling is 40 hours weekly, 11am–7:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. The position offers benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K with match, PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in quantity food production.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maryland Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the steamtable on time to prevent delays in the tray line.
• Maintains food temperatures per state and federal regulations; monitors temperatures during service.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Follows recipes and directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking and serving foods.
• Instructs attendants regarding menu offerings and changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance.

• Instructs attendants in regard to menu offerings and/or menu changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance.
