Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a Cook to join The Park at Laguna Springs' Culinary Department in Elk Grove, California. This part-time role offers hourly pay between $19.50 and $20, based on experience, and opportunities to grow within the organization.

You will prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals for residents and guests, store and rotate food safely, keep the kitchen clean, and support the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler's certificate.
• All requirements related to the food handlers' certificate per state requirements.
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs.
