Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for its Corrections team in Mankato, MN. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will train employees, enforce sanitation and portion control, and maintain quality while supporting a team-oriented culture. Summit and Elior North America offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handlers certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation; ensure meals begin on time and portions/temperature are correct.
