Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a full-time cook to prepare and cook meals for patients, café service, and catering events, following established recipes and production sheets. You will help update menus and production records with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.

This role requires 3+ years in hospital food service, strong communication, and the ability to work day and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals for patients, café service, and catering events.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records with leadership input.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workspaces per HACCP and record temperatures.
• Oversee food production, ensure proper portioning and adherence to culinary standards.
• Coordinate daily operations with FANS Coordinator and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events, following established recipes and production sheets.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas by following HACCP guidelines and recording temperatures accurately.
• Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for both patient and retail services.
• Communicate effectively with the FANS Coordinator and team members to coordinate daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are consistently met.
• Other duties as assigned.
