Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing duties in compliance with safety procedures.
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance, being punctual and consistently present during scheduled work hours.
  • Wear all uniforms including nametags; possess a gaming license if applicable.
  • Prepare all menu items and specials efficiently and consistently, paying attention to quality, presentation, taste, and detail, including large orders.
  • Make effective adjustments to enhance the dining experience for all customers.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring thorough cleaning at shift end.
  • Develop and maintain positive relations with guests and employees.
  • Answer questions about the restaurant, menu, and resort operations accurately and completely.
  • Receive ongoing training and guidance from the Lead Cook, Sous Chef, and Restaurant Manager.
  • Perform duties in compliance with safety, health standards, internal policies, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Maintain alertness and awareness of restaurant operations, informing supervisors of any concerns regarding food quality and variety.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed and directed.
Qualification Requirements:

Demonstrated cooking experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environments, with ability to work under deadlines and pressure, solving problems, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, with two or more years of recent related cooking experience in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming settings.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Food Handler’s License or equivalent; successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Perform physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, crouching, bending, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, and standing for entire shifts; lift trays and up to 50 pounds; flexible work hours with additional hours as required.

Compensation & Benefits:
