LivWell Market in Somersworth NH is hiring several cooks to build our opening kitchen team. You will craft gyro, spanakopita-inspired dishes and other Greek-inspired items with real ingredients, in a fast casual setting.

Collaborate with a passionate team and learn through an iterative design process as the market grows from a Greek kitchen to a full-service concept. You’ll bring enthusiasm, curiosity, knife confidence, and a willingness to obtain ServSafe Manager certification.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred with a proactive attitude.
• Knife confidence and ability to handle high-volume prep.
• Willingness to obtain ServSafe Manager certification.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Attention to allergy needs and guest safety.

Responsabilités

• Execute and enhance our fast casual menu—gyros, rice bowls, traditional Greek and original dishes.
• Take ownership of back kitchen prep, mise en place, and cleanup.
• Support secondary kitchen for prepared meals and catering.
• Maintain consistent portioning and quality on every plate.
• Keep stations clean, organized, and food-safe; log temperatures per NH standards.
• Log food temperatures and maintain sanitation records per NH food safety standards

LivWell Market is hiring several creative and passionate individuals for our market location at 8 Somersworth Plaza, Somersworth NH to support our Greek-inspired food service beginnings. Are you or someone you know interested in working for a small specialty food market starting at the ground level? We are looking for individuals who don’t shy from a challenge, who intentionally explore ways to be creative, and who find enjoyment in brightening the day for others. You will be a key contributor to our growth and evolution as we build along with the Somersworth Downtown.

About this position

You’ll be cooking real food with passion, love, and real ingredients — with recipes ranging from authentic Greek dishes to unique and original fusions. Every gyro is hand-made. Every spanakopita starts from scratch. Bring your curiosity, your creativity, and your confidence. We’re building our opening kitchen team and hiring several cooks, so you’ll grow alongside others who share your drive. You will collaborate with our passionate team while we all embrace a lifelong learning and iterative design philosophy to constantly improve.

Where We're Headed

LivWell Market will first open as a fast casual Greek kitchen with a small grocery corner. That is our humble beginning — our starting point and our first impression to the community. As we grow, a beautiful bar comes to life with coffee, tea, fresh juices, and other fast, interactive service. Our grocery expands into real, thoughtful, delicious prepared meals people can grab and bring home or eat on the go. Our secondary kitchen opens its doors to partnerships and collaborations, allowing LivWell Market to become a force multiplier. Eventually, our dining room transforms into both a full service Greek fine dining experience and training grounds for people aspiring to teach or learn about food. The same space, the same heart, deepening into something more.
