Navion Senior Solutions in New Bern, NC is seeking a Part-Time Cook who enjoys preparing delicious meals, working with a team, and making a positive impact on residents.

You’ll help prepare and serve meals that are fresh and made with care, while following safety standards and dress requirements. This role supports a welcoming dining experience and resident well-being in a caregiving setting.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certificate or ability to become certified.
• One year of food prep experience including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Three years in healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred.
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
• Three years’ experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
