The Legacy of Orangeburg, part of Navion Senior Living, seeks a Cook to prepare and serve meals that are fresh, appealing, and crafted with care for residents. You will help create a welcoming dining experience and support high-quality service as part of a team.

This part-time, day-shift position emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and a positive guest experience. Employment offers include a strong benefits package typical for healthcare dining teams.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certificate required or eligible to complete ServSafe certification.
• High School diploma or GED accepted.
• Culinary apprenticeship/training preferred.
• One year experience in food preparation including full-line menu items.
• Must be 16+ (18+ for certain machines in NC).
• Three years experience in healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred.
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred.

• Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
• Must be 16 years or older. In NC, must be 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines such as a meat slicer, mixer, etc.
• Three years’ experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
