Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Server to join our dining services team. You will assist with seating, meal selections, and creating a welcoming, safe dining environment for residents and guests.

Key duties include maintaining cleanliness, following sanitation procedures, and collaborating with staff to deliver exceptional service. Prior dining or customer service experience is preferred but not required; English proficiency and a state background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Dining Service - Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping resident select their meals.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation - Set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain the cleanliness and conditional of all flatware and glassware.
• Communicate Effectively - Proactively communicate with residents and team member.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.

Schedule: Part Time | 4:15pm-7pm | 12 hours per pay period

Pay: $16-$18.50 (non-exempt), based on location, qualifications, and experience

As a Server, You Will

• Provide Exceptional Dining Service - Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping resident select their meals.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation - Set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain the cleanliness and conditional of all flatware and glassware. Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas. Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate Effectively - Proactively communicate with residents and team member.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.

• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
