Calhoun's Neyland Drive location is seeking a friendly Cook to join the kitchen team. You will be on the line (Window, Grill, Salad, or Fry) preparing products, maintaining temperatures, and keeping a clean, sanitary station. Quick, accurate, and able to learn new menu items will help you succeed.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating kitchen equipment safely, and working standing for long shifts. Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, and Meal Discounts.

Responsabilités

• Prepare products for assigned station (Window/Grill/Salad/Fry).
• Keep temperatures accurate and monitor hot/cold holding.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment.
• Ensure recipes and menu specs are followed.
• Familiarize with new menu items and specials.

Calhoun's is looking for a Cook to join their Neyland Drive location!

The positions that work the line are: Window, Grill, Salad and Fry. Responsibilities include: preparing products for the station, maintain accuracy of the product temperatures, keep a clean and sanitary work environment as well as perform all food procedures correctly. You will need to ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly. This individual will be assembling ingredients according to menu specifications and must be quick and efficient with their work. You will need to become familiar with new menu items and specials as they become available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Math skills and understanding of basic conversions
• Must be able to use a digital scale and thermometer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and more on occasion (with assistance)
• Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
• Prefer kitchen line experience
• Demonstrate the ability to follow recipes
