Job summary

BFS Foods is seeking staff at the Accident, MD location to support food preparation and service. Responsibilities include timely cooking to standards, stocking the unit, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.

Candidates should be able to work as part of a team, communicate effectively, and follow all safety and policy guidelines. Both part-time and full-time openings are available with opportunities to learn and grow within the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Work as part of a team and help in other areas if need be.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform.
• Prepare food in a timely manner to Little Sandy's standards.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Keep the work area clean at all times using all tools provided by the manager.
• Bring all items of concern to the attention of the manager, especially safety and customer service issues.
• Know the menu and daily features and ensure they are cooked and presented correctly.
• Understand duties of self and coworkers to maximize teamwork throughout the day.
• Follow all safety, food handling, cash security, and restaurant policies.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform
• Prepare food in a timely manner to Little Sandy's standards.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Using all tools provided by the manager keep the work area clean at all times.
• Bring all items of concern to the attention of the manager immediately, especially safety concerns and customer service complaints
• Know the menu, the daily features when applicable and be sure they are cooked and presented correctly.
• Know your duties and the duties of coworkers to maximize teamwork throughout the day.
• Practice all rules for safety food handling cash security and all other restaurant policies.
• Perform all prepping and cleaning duties as detailed or assigned by supervisor
• Make a difference in food cost by controlling waste and portion control.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Have a positive attitude during your shift.
