Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Cook, Line for the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge in Alaska. This seasonal, full-time role focuses on preparing dishes with local ingredients, following company recipes, and contributing to a high-energy kitchen team.

You will maintain food safety, stock the line, and support a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to work long hours and pass a background check, with housing available for

• Food preparation and stocking workstation to ensure success for business demands.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces.
• Stock kitchen, organize product, inspect food quality.
• Completing food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management.
• Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs./23 kg, work around hot kitchen equipment safely, and stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
