Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Cook, Prep for the Alaska Denali Lodge season. You will assist on a fast-paced kitchen line, preparing dishes per recipes, and maintain clean, organized prep areas in a guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities include line prep, stocking, quality control, and complying with safety protocols. Must lift 50 lbs, obtain Alaska Food Handlers or ServSafe, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Alaska Food Handlers Card or ServSafe certification required or provided.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Minimum age 18 to reside in company housing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and stocking workstation to ensure success for business demands.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23 kg.
• Have current or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification. If needed the company will provide training for ServSafe.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
