Job summary

Faith Haven Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking a part-time cook to join our EPIC team. You will prepare nourishing meals for residents, follow menus, and ensure portions and safety standards meet our high quality expectations.

Work closely with the Dietary Director, contribute to menu reviews, and uphold sanitary policies while enjoying competitive hourly pay, hero pay, and advancement opportunities along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to deliver compassionate care.
• You are a team player, dedicated to supporting the team and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and nourish residents according to menus and portions.
• Review and contribute to menus with Dietary Director.
• Ensure sanitary regulations and policies are followed.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Director to maintain food quality.

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times. They work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

You will earn:

• $17.00 - $18.95 per hour based on years of experience
• PLUS Hero Pay! ($0.85 per hour!)

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• PartTime - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Mornings / Days - 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• No late nights!

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:
