Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Cook for the Wake County Detention Center in Raleigh, NC. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold items, follow recipes, and manage your station with teammates in a correctional facility environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of cooking experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to food safety regulations. Onsite work with opportunities for growth and training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 21+ years old.
• At least 1 year cooking experience in a cafeteria or large-volume setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in food service.

Responsibilities

• Follow Daily Prep List and complete opening/closing checklists.
• Set up station with ingredients and equipment for service.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers and mixers.
• Handle, label and rotate products per state laws.
• Stand for extended periods and work as part of a team.
