Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a food prep environment.
• Familiar with knife skills and kitchen equipment.
• Strong verbal communication with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must hold a valid County Food Handler's Card.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Punctuality in an event-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Observe and practice all health and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure food is prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
• Label and date all products; rotate stock using FIFO.
• Use proper utensils and portions.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate menus to ensure timely cooking in correct vessels.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
• May rotate across stations during a shift.
• Follow sanitary practices and food safety regulations.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cleaning.
• May work additional hours based on events.
