Baptist Health Lexington is looking for a Cook II to prepare and cook a variety of meals for patient dining, cafeteria, and events, following standardized recipes and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes high-quality food production, equipment safety, sanitation, and teamwork to deliver excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff. Shifts include full-time and part-time options with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum cook experience
• Must complete Rouxbe Culinary Training course within 6 months
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• ServeSafe Foodservice Handlers or Local Health Department Certification
• 2 year Culinary Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and schedules
• Mentor Cook I team members and support staff development
• Ensure sanitation, temperature control and food safety
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Provide quality presentation for meals and events
