Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a Cook I for full-time, 1st/2nd shift with days varying and rotates weekends and holidays. The role prepares food for cafeteria, catering and patients according to established menus and recipes, while ensuring safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in batch cooking and/or preparation preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in high-volume food production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and prepare food for cafeteria, catering, and patients per menus and recipes.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality in service and cleanup.
• Operate kitchen equipment and assist teammates to meet deadlines.
• Learn and develop skills for safe, efficient food production.
