Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or the equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Master one kitchen station and take responsibility for personal decisions and actions.
• Ensure service standards meet guest and employee needs.
• Proactive in exceeding guest satisfaction and resolve challenges from guests or staff.
• Follow daily cleaning schedule to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Read and follow recipes for soups, salads, gravies, sauces, and casseroles.
• Carve, portion, and garnish meats and dishes to fill orders.
