Job summary

Te Deseo is seeking a Cook II to operate on dedicated kitchen stations, uphold quality and sanitation, and assist senior cooks in daily production.

You will prepare, cook, store foods, label and date items, and manage inventories while meeting Health Department standards. The role requires 2 years of culinary experience, basic sanitation and knife skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English, read recipes, and perform basic math calculations.
• 2 years culinary experience in a similar role, preferably high-volume luxury environment.
• Basic sanitation and culinary knowledge, with accurate knife skills.
• Ability to work in an organized, team-oriented setting and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and store foods on dedicated stations.
• Meet quality standards; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist Cook I and Chef De Partie as needed.
• Label and date products for safekeeping; proper storage.
