Hard Rock Casino Tejon is seeking a Cook II to assist under the Sous Chef in preparing a variety of dishes for the casino’s guest services. The role emphasizes high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, solid cooking skills across grilling and pantry work, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a busy kitchen while maintaining organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' prior experience as a Cook Trainee or line cook, or a culinary degree/apprenticeship.
• Proficiency in various Asian cooking techniques (wok cooking, steaming).
• Understanding of Asian ingredients and their uses.

Responsabilités

• Prepares food for grill, fry, broil, or pantry; plates must be visually appealing and cooked to specs.
• Recognizes sauces and sauces placement on entrees on daily menus.
• Keeps workstation neat and clean and assists coworkers to ensure efficient line operation.
