Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa, part of Columbia Hospitality, is seeking a Cook II to join our kitchen team in Snoqualmie, WA. You will prepare daily items, assist with menu development under supervision, and ensure attractive presentation of both buffet and plated dishes.

You should have prior cooking experience, knife skills, and a state food handler license. You will work with a passionate team in a resort setting that emphasizes guest delight and culinary quality.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.
• State Food Handler’s License(s).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily mise en place and follow supervisor instructions for menu items.
• Prepare new menu items under the direction of a supervisor.
• Ensure attractive and consistent presentation of food items, both buffet and plated.
• Interact with line cooks to monitor quality and consistency of dishes.
• Handle customer requests in a timely manner and maintain prep area cleanliness.
