The Ricardo Marriott DFW Westlake is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Food and Beverage team. This role supports breakfast, lunch and dinner service, handling mise en place, set‑up and breakdown of stations, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

As a Non-Exempt team member, you will prepare foods using various methods, monitor temperatures, and contribute to a guest‑centered dining experience with accurate portioning and timely service.

Qualificações

• Ability to follow recipes and calculate amounts within recipes.
• Ability to adapt to change, new situations, changes in staffing and procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain food quality no matter what the business and staffing level.
• Ability to make decisions as needed to ensure quality guest service.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares a variety of foods with various cooking methods to meet production schedules.
• Preps ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Sets up, clears and breaks down workstation.
• Tests foods for doneness and maintains food quality and temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and cleans kitchen and storage areas.
• Reports maintenance issues to supervisor and follows safety policies.
• Maintains teamwork and open communication with staff and supervisors.
