The role involves line setup, buffet upkeep, waste control, and operating kitchen equipment. Strong verbal and written communication is required, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt communication style to audience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portions.
• Date and rotate perishables; maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan prep, and set up line.
• Keep buffet stocked and assist with waste control.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment; ensure safe usage.
• Attend regularly as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned.
