Job Summary:

The Buffet Cook II ensures excellent guest service in a timely manner, maintains consistent quality of products, and provides a fun dining experience. Responsibilities include sanitary food handling, preparing menu items, cleaning the prep area, and other duties as assigned. The starting wage for this position is $15.

Essential Functions:
  1. Develop and maintain a Service Culture that ensures superior internal and external guest service by all team members.
  2. Prepare and produce menu items efficiently and to standards.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  4. Assist in food production across all work areas, including proper cooking methods, times, and temperatures.
  5. Keep assigned stations and equipment clean and sanitary.
  6. Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
  7. Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
  8. Stay informed about promotions and events.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Excellent customer service skills.
  2. Experience in pantry, fry cook, broiler, and sauté stations.
  3. Successful completion of required training.
  4. Knowledge of local health department sanitation laws.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Mobility with reasonable accommodations.
  2. Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues.
  3. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  4. Ability to work with standard kitchen equipment, in coolers and freezers, and on slippery floors.
  5. Capability to lift up to 40 pounds, stretch, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
  6. Ability to operate in stressful situations mentally and physically.
