Dietary Manager - Residential Care Facilities

Join our team as a Dietary Manager at Vera French Community Mental Health Center. We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee food service operations at our Residential Care Facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise dietary and housekeeping staff; prepare work schedules and assign duties for daily and long-range food preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with food sanitation regulations and maintain orderly work functions.
  • Consult with a licensed dietician and oversee the provision of optimal nutrition for residents.
  • Manage monthly budgets, review invoices, and handle food orders and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory records according to state guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous institutional or commercial cooking experience required; three years preferred.
  • Completion or ability to complete 90 hours of state nutrition food preparation courses.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with food purchasing and recipe writing required.
