Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and production methods.
• Maintain high quality through safe, sanitary handling during preparation, service and storage; perform daily quality checks.
• Work at multiple production stations and conduct taste, temperature and presentation checks for patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.
• Train and orient staff on food production, safety and sanitation practices.
• Lead production in the absence of Executive Chef per facility guidelines.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Experience

Required: 4 years as a Cook / 2 years with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma

Preferred: 2 years in Healthcare

Education

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certification

Required: ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
