Job summary

Seven Feathers Resort in Oregon is seeking a kitchen team member responsible for daily food preparation in the culinary department. You will assist the on-duty supervisor to ensure proper food preparation and quality across all food outlets, while maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

You will help uphold good safety and health practices, stay current on Resort policies, and collaborate professionally with all staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of cooking experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Must have administrative/clerical experience.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skill.
• Current Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe Certificate required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items as directed by the Chef. Assists the Chef and Kitchen Staff in everyday food preparations.
• Maintains a clean and safe workstation according to the standards set by the Resort, including walk in coolers and storage areas.
• Responsible for the good safety and health practices throughout the culinary department, including emergency and security procedures.
• Remains current on all Resort policies and procedures.
• Maintains proper and professional relationship with all Resort Staff.
