Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook I at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. In this full-time role, you will prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods, following Sodexo’s culinary standards for quality and safety.

You’ll work on a fast-paced kitchen, maintain a clean workstation, and support kitchen teamwork while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Weekdays with morning and afternoon/evening shifts, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
